Quiet weekend

Not much to tell about the last days due to RL-work. The few hours I was inworld I was busy sorting inventory (again). It's messing up soooooo fast! *sigh*

So, here's just some pics from the Tabor OOC dance on sunday, where we almost always are:

I got a new outfit from HUNG - a shop with really hot stuff! Just after the dance I realized, that the jockstrap was transparent and you could see everything through it. Oh well.. who cares?
My slaves wearing the T-backs from Jomo. *purrrrrs* Another nice shop with hot stuff. They attached invisible prims with OpenCollar-scripts to it, so I could leash them there with ropes. *purrrrs more*

I more and more like the OpenCollar and wonder, why I ever spent money on all the tokon-stuff from xCite!, which is always slow, if it works at all, and really highly scripted. Well, I still love my xCite!-stuff, of course, and tokon isn't too bad (in privacy, low lag regions), but there are so many nice collars and good other stuff from OpenCollar for free... Love it!

My son's first slave

Yes, I have a son on Gor, called Dar. Long story... He was away for a long time, but now he is back. And he became a member of the Tabor Guard.

This week he found a lost boy and took him for a trial period of three days. But he kept him, so today was the official collaring of Jasper. Another slave in our growing household.

Here are some pics. (I guess, one of my other boys will add the RP of the collaring):

It's the season

The last weeks we were a bit busy preparing for christmas. Our Earth-Parcel is beach and as we didn't want to change this, we made a nice skybox. Pics will follow soon.

So, here's just a pic of River and me decorating the christmas-tree while Mick plays the bagpipe:

Chance - first boy of Tabor - has put out the traditional skating rink in Tabor and asked us to decorate Tabor Isle a bit. I wished I had more time... I'm a slooooooow builder, checking and rechecking again and again... but however, I think it's nice. And fun to complain IC (in character) about the "lazy slaves, who don't keep the ways free of snow", while I OOC (out of character) shoveled the snow there all by myself. :-)

This is one of those pictures... hmmm... I think, everybody, who likes to take pictures in SL knows the situation: I am normally in low graphics because of lag... but then you have this moment, where you think "Wow! That would be an amazing snapshot!", but as you are in low graphics, you want to do it even better... raising draw distance, atmospheric shader, playing with different windlights etc etc etc - and at the end, the result is just disappointing, as the magic moment is gone. - This is one of those disappointing pictures, but I don't have an other.

hmmmm.....

Not much to tell these days. Still on the hunt. And building our winter-hut, which will look fine, I think. So.. here's just a pic from me dancing at a beach-party at the Romanum-SIMs:

Oh! Uhm... forgot this: Met my dragon this week!

Gee! How could I forget to mention that!?!

As I had mentioned: We are on the menstuff hunt. We just got 1/3 of all the gifts, so #1 - #50 are stored in my inventory, waiting to get opened. But apart from the hunt-gifts we also found some nice extra gifts. One at a shop called GIZZA Creations. When you join the group at the entrance, you can grap a lot of really nice gifts.

I took the time to take some pictures of the male gifts (there are gifts for women too...). I know... modelling for clothes shouldn't be with such distracting background, but I just had some fun in Ange's D.I.Y. Photostudio:

This is the "Blue Outfit" (.. I think. Though it's not much blue.)

The September gift

The June Gift

One of my Favorites: Blue Leather Outfit

The October Gift
(Don't like this so much;
that explains my sad look
although I'm sitting on Santa's lap)

The Valentine's Gift
(Love this one. Looks so cool
and I extra changed my hairstyle for it back to how it was a year ago)

The Sweater Outfits

The May Gift

The Male Leather Jacket
(and yes, I accidently chosen the same pose as with another outfit)

The First Year Gift
(It had a strange tie with it which I took off.
Without it, it looks quite gentleman-like. Like it!)

The November Gift

P.S.: 12 hours after this post, Gizza decided to charge 250 L$ for joining the group. That's a bit disappointing IMO, on the other side understandable, as many people just join the group to grap the gifts and then leave it again. - However, once joined, you will receive a monthly gift. Decide yourself, if you think it's worth the 250 L$.

posing

My lil sunshine River mentioned the pose some days ago, so my lil moonbeam Endy was busy trying to recreate the pose. It became pretty good and I like the pictures we did last night. Looking forward to my lil sunshine to post the pictures he'd taken:

Chirp

I thought, my lil moonbeam had a roo-AV, but it was only one of his meeroos in a bunny-costume. However, I got us demo-versions of a roo-AV (the demo is okay, the full version not worth the 800 L$ IMHO). So, here you see our pet-roos + me and River. Can you tell who's who?

Our House

So, it's time to show some pictures of our house. The last weeks been so busy again. I don't have the time to continue with all my planned projects for my store. And that although the new possibility of making megaprims makes my heart bounce!

Well, the building of the house and furnishing it (not ready yet) kept me busy. And after that was done, I got busy with the "suggestions for the NLS pricing." And the growing amount of Meeroos (I think it's about 40 now or more...) keeps us busy too. But things are calming down now and we're looking forward to RP again.

So, here's our house - a mix of roman "Villa Rustica" and mexican hacienda with a touch of Gor:

update update update

Not posted for another week, so it's time for some updates....

* From here to eternity *

I almost finished sorting my inventory. Except... textures... which will be another 20.000 to sort.

Sorting out my poseballs I found this one...

.... and set it out on our beach. Love it! Reminds me of the movie "From here to eternity".

Would have liked to work on this pic a bit, but don't have the time for it.

* Firestorm *

Struggling with the next generation of Phoenix-viewer which is called Firestorm. I don't like it much. Though it seems to be more stable, it also seems much slower in rezzing textures and I DO NOT FIND ANYTHING! *growls*

* Savage Tales *

Snake spent some time with his tribe-brothers Giani and Gim. After they had to leave Tidra and followed the "guardians" (Franzi & co...) to the cold north, they first tried to settle down in a cave in Kalana Fjord. But they were not welcome there, so they moved on. Now they are in the neighbor-SIM where - after some confusing and misunderstandings in the beginning - they were welcomed warmly. They found a nice little cave, neighboring a kur ("talking beast" as they call it), busy with hunting, eating and trading a lot.

* Nutri Life System *

We're giving up on the NLS! Just today another market opened. Offering things they "harvest". Black wine beans, bazi tea, salt... Yes, according to the books they grow so much in the cold north... Not!
It just doesn't make sense to RP a trader, travelling all over Gor to buy cheap here, sell expensive there, when people can just collect the stuff along the boardwalks wherever they are and then offer it all for free.
So I will pull down our marketstalls and use it from now on only for our private needs like cooking, eating and drinking. No trading anymore.
The thought of the system isn't bad. But people are people. They all want to be independent and nobody really WANTS to RP with the goods in a REASONABLE way. It would need better control. But the creator it seems is only interested in making money and doesn't care any further about it.
We created a group to support a more reasonable use of the system, but I don't think it's worth to waste time, energy and nerves.
* The Shop *

I changed the design of my shop. I liked it very much before, but as I mostly sell Gorean houses and stuff, I made it more appropriate now. I wished I could drag more customers in... What's the nicest built worth, if people don't see it?

* The Meeroo-invasion *

It all started with Mr. Roo.... And now we got.. I think 12 13 1415161718 meeroos running around!

Yeah, they are cute, but somehow they remind me of the "tribbles" in Star Trek. I think they make even the same chirping sounds. :-)

Well, I got two for myself. Babies from my boys' tribbles meeroos. But really.. enough is enough! All following offspring is going to be sold. Period.

But hell, they are really cute, aren't they?

Hm, I think that's it for today. Hope I didn't forget any news. I really should get used to write the news every day...

lot happened

Yeah, a lot happened the last weeks which kept me pretty busy. Fortunately my boys are blogging a lot. *heh*

The main thing happening were moves. Building, moving, furnishing, building again, moving again, furnishing again... After we had lived at the docks of Hrimgar for a while, we decided to get a bit more "private space", so we rented a house in the farmland behind Hrimgar. As that was finally furnished and ready, the whole concept of Hrimgar changed. We joined the neighbor SIM, called Kalana Fjord, so now that's Kalana Fjord East and Kalana Fjord West. Sooooooo..... moving again. We built a very nice (at least they say so) new house at the docks. Like it much. And we will see where RP leads us to, now as the SIM is finally open to RP again.

Pictures of the new house I'll show in a video we're making. Prolly will take some weeks.....

In between all the moving and building and furnishing I still try to sort my inventory and to spend some time with my slaves. I just love my boys and I'm happy that they are in their RP as logical and reasonable and "steadily" as me. One thing, one action, one emote leading to another... and that for days or even weeks. What I dislike the most in SL-Gor (apart from bad RPers) is the discontinuity: One day someone fights an outlaw, the next day the very same outlaw hangs around with his supposed to be enemies in the taverne, drinking paga as if they were best friends. Where's the logic in this? Often it's not the question if a RP is "by the books", it's more a question of logic and realism.

We also have some more pictures to come. Finn, our photographer, and his partner Spencer made new poses for us (I guess they will soon be available to purchase, so I will let you know, when they sell them). Here's a first sketch of it; I think it's called "Adored":

In RL got a bit stress too, as my kitteh suddenly became very ill. My other kitteh died last year, which was a long and sad progress, always hoping that he gets better. I'm so grateful, that my bestie Tel stood by my side at that hard time... however, now my other kitteh got ill and it was very, very close to die. He's in a vet-hospital now, but good news: He made it! Will get my lil "Fat'n'lazy" aka Henry back today or tomorrow. Yay!

Hmmmm, don't know what else to tell. The longer I don't post, the less I know to talk about. So here's just two more pictures... snapshots.... as we were sparing in the arena. Viking-Tiger and Tiger & his boy. *g*

kk - I guess, that's it for today. Wish you all a nice weekend!
