Quiet weekend

Not much to tell about the last days due to RL-work. The few hours I was inworld I was busy sorting inventory (again). It's messing up soooooo fast! *sigh*

So, here's just some pics from the Tabor OOC dance on sunday, where we almost always are:

I got a new outfit from HUNG - a shop with really hot stuff! Just after the dance I realized, that the jockstrap was transparent and you could see everything through it. Oh well.. who cares?
My slaves wearing the T-backs from Jomo. *purrrrrs* Another nice shop with hot stuff. They attached invisible prims with OpenCollar-scripts to it, so I could leash them there with ropes. *purrrrs more*

I more and more like the OpenCollar and wonder, why I ever spent money on all the tokon-stuff from xCite!, which is always slow, if it works at all, and really highly scripted. Well, I still love my xCite!-stuff, of course, and tokon isn't too bad (in privacy, low lag regions), but there are so many nice collars and good other stuff from OpenCollar for free... Love it!

Time for an update

The new year is 18 days old and still just one entry. Oh my! But there's not so much to tell...

In Gorean RP (or the lack of it) the one or other thing annoying me... so we don't RP much and most of the time stick to ourselves, trying to enhance the RP at the Trading Post where we live in Tabor Tropics. Slowly we are building up some marketstalls for the Nutri Life System (NLS). I still think it would be a good system (though with a lot of deficits).. if people would just be interested to really use it as a Roleplay-chance instead of camping their AVs all day long on spawners and filling up crates after crates with goods nobody wants, because everyone else is doing exactly the same.
We are at least trying to encourage RP by building our own little items... handmade-baskets with fruits, little bags with black wine (coffee) and cacao powder, or this little bag for candies and a candy cane attached to the leg, which I just created this week:

Also planning to sell a new brand of black wine which we call "Kopi Urta", similar to the "Kopi Luwak". - Kopi Luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world, because it first has to pass the digestive tract of a little rodent ("luwak") that looks like this:

We call it tree-urt in Gor (urt = rat) and Endy saved one a while ago from the cold winter in Tabor. He set it into our patch of black wine and cacao bushes and fed it with berries. But one day, when we came back from travels, we had to notice, that it called it's whole family of tree-urts and they ate all the bushes and beans and left us only a lot of heaps of urt-poo....

... but in the poo, River found the almost undigested beans. He washed them and placed them on roasts to dry. So we will see, what comes out of that...

Hmmmm... what else? Tried a rescue-mission this week, but didn't get any hints IC (in character)... so as we are strict in that and not accept OOC-info by IMs and group-chat, we couldn't do much.

Went to some SIMs, as we wanted to RP trade, but most people are sitting in their houses (if present at all) and don't bother to look for the visitors. Okay... I have to admit, that we also not jump everytime, when someone enters the SIM. Sometimes too busy to cuddle or OOC to talk. But people passing by, not even bothering to say "hi!", either IC or OOC... that makes me always wonder. Even if they are busy with something else or OOC, it is a question of manners to say at least a greeting. That's a question of manners... but Gor seems to lack a lot of these.

There were some visitors last week, which were quite fun. I wished they would have stayed longer. They RPed in Tabor East... also came over to us two times... took over the bakery as our baker in Tabor was missing (now back... or not? Nobody knows)... and promptly were first accused of being griefers, because they just BEEN THERE, and then someone else called out in group chat, to stay away from Tabor East, because "those outlaws" are there. Interestingly it was exactly those people, who sit in their houses all day long, don't RP with anybody and have nothing better to do than to cam all over the cluster and spy other people's bedrooms. "We have visitors! Stay away! Lock your doors!" - Why please are people with such a mentality on Gorean RP-SIMs at all? - However, I found those visitors' blog and they are really funny, I think. A big loss, that they were not welcomed...

Oh, and the Dark Lord seems to be back! Yay! Most of the times fun to RP... I think, he was sneaking around our house, but this time unfortunately it was us (mea culpa!) who were OOC at that moment, because of some incident right before that, which made me a bit... uhm... upset.

So far about Gor. Apart from that... hm... got some nice Freebies at the kobalt-store. I love the sexy underwear there. There are some polo-shirts and some speedos:
Not sure, if they are still there. Just search for "kobalt" and take a look yourself. Mmmmmm, those bulges... love them!

Missed the Tabor Sunday Dance this week... :-( ... Due to some RL-events... well, some changes in the RL-job are coming, so I won't be able to spend so much time in SL anymore anyways, but at least I prolly will now have the one or other weekend off (or at least a saturday).

And I miss building! I still have sooooo many projects to finish. Maybe I should try to get at least the smaller ones ready and offer them at Marketplace? - My boys started their own offers at Marketplace and they are doing well with their builds.

For instance this lovely bird-bath from River:

.. or the as well lovely lanterne from Endy.

Well, that's it for today. I still will try to write more often. Promise! (that I try, not that I really do)

busy week

So, what happened this week? So much, that I can't even remember all. The main event was, that my lil devil Mick returned to the chain. Four boys now... I guess I need a Master-convalescence-holiday soon! :-)

Here's a pic of the collaring and my lovely boys. More pics and the whole ceremony you can read in my lil sunshine's blog.
I even made a bosk-roast all by myself. Masterly for my boys. It was well done. I mean... really.. very well done. My boys are sooooo fond of my cooking skills, but they were too modest and overwhelmed by the honor to eat more than a tiny piece of the delicious, very crunchy roast. (And if anyone tells you, my cooking skills would credit any Tuchuk torturer, he's lying!)

Last sundway we were dancing again at the OOC dance in Tabor:

This time we themed it White latex and we looked really hot and sexy.

Hmmm, can't remember much more about this week. Some pointless discussions. Oh, a RP where we spread candies all over the Tabor cluster, but unfortunately the slaves seem to be full of candies already, so nobody really searched for the lost candies. Did some trading with Iceberg for wool. Oh, and my son Darion Ninetails is now a member of the scarlets. Yay!

So, that's it as far as I remember...

It's the season

The last weeks we were a bit busy preparing for christmas. Our Earth-Parcel is beach and as we didn't want to change this, we made a nice skybox. Pics will follow soon.

So, here's just a pic of River and me decorating the christmas-tree while Mick plays the bagpipe:

Chance - first boy of Tabor - has put out the traditional skating rink in Tabor and asked us to decorate Tabor Isle a bit. I wished I had more time... I'm a slooooooow builder, checking and rechecking again and again... but however, I think it's nice. And fun to complain IC (in character) about the "lazy slaves, who don't keep the ways free of snow", while I OOC (out of character) shoveled the snow there all by myself. :-)

This is one of those pictures... hmmm... I think, everybody, who likes to take pictures in SL knows the situation: I am normally in low graphics because of lag... but then you have this moment, where you think "Wow! That would be an amazing snapshot!", but as you are in low graphics, you want to do it even better... raising draw distance, atmospheric shader, playing with different windlights etc etc etc - and at the end, the result is just disappointing, as the magic moment is gone. - This is one of those disappointing pictures, but I don't have an other.

hmmmm.....

Not much to tell these days. Still on the hunt. And building our winter-hut, which will look fine, I think. So.. here's just a pic from me dancing at a beach-party at the Romanum-SIMs:

Oh! Uhm... forgot this: Met my dragon this week!

Gee! How could I forget to mention that!?!

Unbelievable! 1 year goes by so fast and on the other side in SL can happen so much in 12 months... But with all what was happening, one person was always by my side: My boy River!

One year ago, on 4th of November 2010 I collared him. Each single day he showed me his love and devotion. And so many times he made me proud. (And of course horny too *g*)

Happy anniversary, my lil sunshine!
Love you very much!

And now for something completely different

Time to write about other things!

So, it's the season... no, not THAT season, but halloween season. On saturday (before that crap started) I've been with my boys on a hunt at Big Momma's House.

It was so much fun. You have to talk and defeat skeletons, witches, werewolves, vampires, barbie (!) etc. Spooky atmosphere! Really worth a visit. And it won't take so long. Thumbs up!

Hehe! I had to post this picture as some of the roos becoming even bigger than my lil  moonbeam. But yes! even our roos celebrate halloween!

Can't see it too well, but we have a zombie roo, a skelly roo, a ghost roo (testimo) and a mummy roo (I think). They are sooooooooo cute! [I think as far as I understood, they are costumes available at the roo-store, so you can just "dress" your existing roos up]

So, yesterday was my lil sunshine's 1st rezzday. We had not much time together, but at least went dancing to Arsenal and had some fun. So sexy kittehs I got:

And after my boys went to bed... late at night... my Bestie Tel invited me over to the haunted house he and Dee had done. I changed into Jack Skellington and jumped over. It was so much fun and their work is amazing:

It was good to get other thoughts and to have some fun. Thanks, Tel & Dee!

so we moved

So, the decision was made. After some more insultations and a question of loyalty we finally packed our stuff and left Kalana Fjord. Not much to say about that anymore...

However was busy the last days building our new house which became fabulous, I think. Love it! Too bad, that it took so much time... as my lil moonbeam Endy has holidays too (River still is away till next week) and we thought we would have time for private RP and cuddles. :-(

Well, more to come soon. At the moment a bit in a hurry....

update update update

Not posted for another week, so it's time for some updates....

* From here to eternity *

I almost finished sorting my inventory. Except... textures... which will be another 20.000 to sort.

Sorting out my poseballs I found this one...

.... and set it out on our beach. Love it! Reminds me of the movie "From here to eternity".

Would have liked to work on this pic a bit, but don't have the time for it.

* Firestorm *

Struggling with the next generation of Phoenix-viewer which is called Firestorm. I don't like it much. Though it seems to be more stable, it also seems much slower in rezzing textures and I DO NOT FIND ANYTHING! *growls*

* Savage Tales *

Snake spent some time with his tribe-brothers Giani and Gim. After they had to leave Tidra and followed the "guardians" (Franzi & co...) to the cold north, they first tried to settle down in a cave in Kalana Fjord. But they were not welcome there, so they moved on. Now they are in the neighbor-SIM where - after some confusing and misunderstandings in the beginning - they were welcomed warmly. They found a nice little cave, neighboring a kur ("talking beast" as they call it), busy with hunting, eating and trading a lot.

* Nutri Life System *

We're giving up on the NLS! Just today another market opened. Offering things they "harvest". Black wine beans, bazi tea, salt... Yes, according to the books they grow so much in the cold north... Not!
It just doesn't make sense to RP a trader, travelling all over Gor to buy cheap here, sell expensive there, when people can just collect the stuff along the boardwalks wherever they are and then offer it all for free.
So I will pull down our marketstalls and use it from now on only for our private needs like cooking, eating and drinking. No trading anymore.
The thought of the system isn't bad. But people are people. They all want to be independent and nobody really WANTS to RP with the goods in a REASONABLE way. It would need better control. But the creator it seems is only interested in making money and doesn't care any further about it.
We created a group to support a more reasonable use of the system, but I don't think it's worth to waste time, energy and nerves.
* The Shop *

I changed the design of my shop. I liked it very much before, but as I mostly sell Gorean houses and stuff, I made it more appropriate now. I wished I could drag more customers in... What's the nicest built worth, if people don't see it?

* The Meeroo-invasion *

It all started with Mr. Roo.... And now we got.. I think 12 13 1415161718 meeroos running around!

Yeah, they are cute, but somehow they remind me of the "tribbles" in Star Trek. I think they make even the same chirping sounds. :-)

Well, I got two for myself. Babies from my boys' tribbles meeroos. But really.. enough is enough! All following offspring is going to be sold. Period.

But hell, they are really cute, aren't they?

***

Hm, I think that's it for today. Hope I didn't forget any news. I really should get used to write the news every day...

lot happened

Yeah, a lot happened the last weeks which kept me pretty busy. Fortunately my boys are blogging a lot. *heh*

The main thing happening were moves. Building, moving, furnishing, building again, moving again, furnishing again... After we had lived at the docks of Hrimgar for a while, we decided to get a bit more "private space", so we rented a house in the farmland behind Hrimgar. As that was finally furnished and ready, the whole concept of Hrimgar changed. We joined the neighbor SIM, called Kalana Fjord, so now that's Kalana Fjord East and Kalana Fjord West. Sooooooo..... moving again. We built a very nice (at least they say so) new house at the docks. Like it much. And we will see where RP leads us to, now as the SIM is finally open to RP again.

Pictures of the new house I'll show in a video we're making. Prolly will take some weeks.....

In between all the moving and building and furnishing I still try to sort my inventory and to spend some time with my slaves. I just love my boys and I'm happy that they are in their RP as logical and reasonable and "steadily" as me. One thing, one action, one emote leading to another... and that for days or even weeks. What I dislike the most in SL-Gor (apart from bad RPers) is the discontinuity: One day someone fights an outlaw, the next day the very same outlaw hangs around with his supposed to be enemies in the taverne, drinking paga as if they were best friends. Where's the logic in this? Often it's not the question if a RP is "by the books", it's more a question of logic and realism.

We also have some more pictures to come. Finn, our photographer, and his partner Spencer made new poses for us (I guess they will soon be available to purchase, so I will let you know, when they sell them). Here's a first sketch of it; I think it's called "Adored":

In RL got a bit stress too, as my kitteh suddenly became very ill. My other kitteh died last year, which was a long and sad progress, always hoping that he gets better. I'm so grateful, that my bestie Tel stood by my side at that hard time... however, now my other kitteh got ill and it was very, very close to die. He's in a vet-hospital now, but good news: He made it! Will get my lil "Fat'n'lazy" aka Henry back today or tomorrow. Yay!

Hmmmm, don't know what else to tell. The longer I don't post, the less I know to talk about. So here's just two more pictures... snapshots.... as we were sparing in the arena. Viking-Tiger and Tiger & his boy. *g*

kk - I guess, that's it for today. Wish you all a nice weekend!

a bit exhausted

Whew! The last days were exhausting... not only because of RL-work on weekends...

On saturday we took a bit off-Gor time. (Pic above is a bit older, me and my boy kissing at our beach) Put my boy in shackles and gag and RLV... and explored some SIMs. You can read about it on his blog.

Sunday after my work we been a bit OOC-dancing at Tabor. It's always good to relax after the long working-weekend. There's not much going on, so I can dance, listen to the music, and be busy in IMs without caring about the open chat.

Returned to Hrimgar then - though we hadn't planned to, but been asked for help. The city was under attack again by panthers. *sigh* Gosh! What's up with those panthers? All they can do is pew-pew. It's so damn unrealistic. It was never heard of, that a panther-tribe would attack a city or village. They might sneak into an open camp at night - that's true. But not dare to attack a whole village.
And in SL-Gor they are just a pain in the ass. Most of them attack without any RP, often cheating too.. because they just can't loose. This time they DID loose although they were cheating (TP out from our harbour, TP in from the neighbor-SIM to attack from behind; then again TP out from our harbour, just to TP in to the farmlands on the other side.... Hm, that reminds me, if we don't have a rule about leaving a battle via TP and the time you have to wait before you can return.). It was all very messy and at the end called invalid anyways and their whole tribe was banned.

Monday was quiet most of the time. Earlier the day Eilly - the leader from the thieves camp - and me met a man at the docks. He looked very suspicious, didn't sheath his bow as he was asked to... finally ran away and we after him, but lost him in ST. However, two slavegirls recognized him and told us he was an assassin.  - Now THAT would be a storyline. If he was really sent for one of us? To figure out, who had hired him for whom. etc. --- But I doubt, that he comes back. Too bad.

Later the day then very quiet. After I sent my boy to warm the furs, I just set on top of the lighthouse, relaxing and enjoying the view.

After a while Endy called me and I visited him so he could show me his garden and his house. Nice garden it is...

I loved that stump. Have to get it for our garden (which I plan in a skybox on our earth-parcel) too. River will love it. Reminds me, tha I soon wanted to get pictures of us, but I never reach the photographer I do have in mind. :-(

Well, after monday was a more quiet and relaxing day, the next day - tuesday - was a mess! I didn't know, where to start first. There was RP about the kurii to do... information I needed to know IC (as most of my readers know now: I do not like OOC information in a storyline. What doesn't happen IC, doesn't happen at all). Then friends wanted to come to visit and look at the village. At the same time the thieves started some shit with the neighbor-lands: Silver Tree. I didn't know what happened and to be honest: I wasn't much interested. When they go around and steal things or slaves, it's their problem. We have a kind of silent agreement, that they won't steal in Hrimgar, and therefore we don't bother them. But they always start some shit and then we are expected to help. That's IC not the best for the reputation of an honorable city/village, so I'm not too happy with those happenings.
Anyways - it was quite a mess. At the same time the thieves were starting a fight with the neighbors, I was trying to lead my guests through the clouds of arrows up to the village, at the same time as a savage was trying to RP and at the same time another friend visited for a trade. Oh, and a baker-woman arrived too, which I wanted to win for the village. - So, the thieves pew-pew killed at least 4 different storylines of RP, potentially good RP, at least the kind of RP *I* am in Gor for. So, I wasn't happy about that. My guests left, the merchant left, the savage left and the baker logged off. *sigh*

The good thing that day was to finally meet my bestie Teleny again. We haven't met for a while... both too busy. We played "I show you mine and you show me yours" *heh* No, not what YOU think! He showed me his new house he built.  Really nice built. I'm so envious that he has the time for building. I need to take more time for it too. Then I showed him my basement and he agreed, that I should sell it. Well, soon have to see, that I renew the "store" on marketplace. Since it changed from XStreet to Marketplace my products are not found easily, I think. At least I didn't sell anything anymore since the change. So I'm going to renew it all.
Well, that's it for today. We will see what today brings...

... and busy week

okay, okay, okay - I had promised to tell more about the RPs on monday... but then there were on tuesday and wednesday and thursday... - Just too busy, but at least it's fun. Trying to keep running some storylines. Most of Gorean RP is just pew-pew or OOC talk or sex. Still got the hope, that one day more people will come together in big, interactional RP-storylines.

Soooo, this were the ongoings: On monday first the daughter of Eilly - one of the thieves-group in Hrimgar - almost drowned. It was fun to RP, how we carried her to the Healer's house.....

...  got her a hot tub, a healer, the drama with her fiance (as far as I understood) etc. - Not such a big event, just a nice little RP, but I liked it much, as almost the whole group RPed together and everyone was busy with something.

After she was treated well, I sat in the longhall with the healer to discuss the purchase of a slave with him. But as we were just about it, the gulls at the docks cried loud and we went outside to take a look. And there he was again: The kur and his pet and a larl (okay, looked more like a dog/wolf. larls are feline... I think meanwhile she changed the AV*).

*) correction - my fault! It said "lart", not "larl". Explains it all!

He's really impressive! - Who doesn't know, what a kur is (plural kurii): They are werewolf-like creatures on Gor. They are the enemies of the Priest Kings. A alien race who tries to conquer Gor as well as Earth. The wars between kurii and PKs is going on for aeons. Some of their spaceships crashed on Gor and the PKs - for what reason ever - allow the surviving kurii to stay, but destroy the technology. --- However, this kur - Krael - is one of the kur of the ships. A more "civilized" version then the savage kurii, but still dangerous of course. They prefer eating human flesh....

So, Krael had "summoned" me two days before, for the information about the initiates he asked for. I had neither the time, not information yet, not did I like to be "summoned".. however, I wasn't there yet, so he came again to Hrimgar. Had to tell him, that our High Jarl still is missing on travels... so he just had his human pet treated by the physician (she was attacked by a man) and then I brought him to the docks.

Who didn't join us on the way to the docks was the larl. It kept missing. Prolly it found a larl-companion in the mountains? However, the very next day the storage of all the meat in the butcher-house was devoured and a lot of traces of larl-paws were to see in the snow. Now we had to eat fish the next days...

So, for obvious reasons (did I mention they are dangerous?) I didn't want to anger the kurii. I don't think we would be able to fight a war with those mighty beasts, especially as we are very few armed Free atm in Hrimgar.
Plan A: Find an initiate, capture him and drag him to the kurii. May they do with him whatever they want. I for myself doubt that the initiates have the slightest idea of the nature of the PKs. And the Torvies believe in Odin and the Northern Gods, not in the PKs (of course I know better, but... ). So we'd have not much mercy with the initiates anyways. The problem is just: The initiates are rare. GOOD initiate-RPers even rarer. In most SIMs the temples are Safe Zone and the initiates sacrosant. As soon as you'd down one, they'd cry and whine "Invalid! Invalid!" and ban you from their SIM. Which of course is nonsense! Read "Marauders of Gor"! Damnit! - However I tried to make a few steps in this storyline:

I went disguised to Tabor, broke into the temple, searched it but found nothing.

Well, at least I found a "painting".....

..... cut it out of it's frame ....

So I at least have the painting to show the kurii and prove that I'm busy in this mission. Better then nothing.

Of course, as I already thought, there came zero reaction from there. I'd sent them the notecard of the stealing of the painting, but nothing, zero, nada. It's quite a shame - such a big cluster, but no people willing to RP!

However, my search will continue, but if not successfull soon, we will go over to...

.. Plan B: Find a good RPer, who has not in his RP-limits that his hair is too valuable to be cut off... Capture him, shave his head, stuff him in white clothes, wrap him in a rug and deliver him like once ol' Lizzy as Cleopatra to Caesar Rex Harrison... I mean, to Krael. Of course he will deny, that he is an initiate, but who else but a true initiate would deny that he is one when he faces danger?
Sooner or later the kurii will find out, that they were cheated, so we will have to prepare for war anyways. But if nothing else helps it will give us time!

We will see, how this story is going on. On another travel I finally found someone to trade some goods. I needed paga, as I don't like mead much. And I also wanted to bring one barrel to a group of outlaws who once had captured my lil sunshine, but treated him nice and released him without a trade. But somehow our ship must have wandered off course and we landed on a dangerous, unpleasent island. We searched around for a while... it was really scary with skeletons along the pathes.... But we found an unguarded butcher-shop and - voila! - we have meat again! :-)

We RPed, how we got the meat on the ship, but only the bigger pieces as we didn't trust the smaller ones (remember: Human skeletons!), put it all on ice. Left a picture with the robbed store (well, actually I left a silver tarsk on the counter, so I'm not a thief), a LM and a notecard with the story. ---- It was all sent back without any reaction. *sighs* But anyways, our supplies are filled again and I nailed some wood before the butcher-house, so it's safe from larls.

I think that was all about RP so far. Except from the kur I have my doubts that any of the other RPs will in any way be answered. But it was worth a try.

******************

Another thing I was busy this week was building a basement on our earth-parcel. Well, the basement is in the sky for doing other kind of RP (winks), but I think it's becoming quite nice. Maybe I should sell it for some L$:

******************

Well, that's all for today, folks! I wish everyone a nice weekend!

another busy day

Had another busy day yesterday in Hrimgar. More then 6 hours continuing RP... the stories will follow later.

However, it was good, because it distracted me. It would have been the 2-year-anniversary of my partnership with Kenshi.

'nough said!

If I only had time...

/me looks a bit confused. Was looking for that song (preferred John Rowles) and wondered, why Google video suggests "How to put on a condom", when I look for "If I only had time". Hmmmm..... Anyways! A Penis isn't a banana! And I finally fell from my chair laughing, when the last sentence was "You should put on a new condom every time you have sex!" (Me swears, runs and stops the washing-machine.)

However... condoms and bananas - wasn't at all I wanted to talk about. Just some random news...So here they are:

*** HRIMGAR ***

It's going on fine. Though it's cold on our new Gor-place I like it. Okay, there's some drama, some people are just something between "only weird" - "real psycho", but I guess you meet those everywhere, especially in Gor, especially in Gay Gor... so... *shrugs*... I'm long enough here to more or less smile and wave... and then leave.

I took some pics of the harbor and the village, but they are not as good as I wanted them to be. But I like the water reflections in the harbor:

Two of them I played around with photofunia to make kinda oil-paintings of it. Unfortunately they are too dark, but apart from that quite nice, I think:

*** New Seal ***

I also got a new seal for my role as harbormaster, made by Echo Douglas, who's a great photographer and photoshop-artist. I will order a seal for the village itself too. And I think we will have some photos made. Would be time for a new family-portrait, if I ever get them together.

*** Family ***

Talking of that: Most of my family is back! Yay! At least Mick, Brian and my Gor-son Dar. Now only my hubbie is (still) missing. In about 2 weeks there would be our 2 year anniversary... - Anyways, it's good, that the house is filled. I like that.

*** Landdesign ***

I mentioned the quarter SIM in the post before. I had not much time to work on it - and to be honest: Not the right mood for it also, as I can't change the ground-texture (I could, but that would give drama with the neighbors), have to deal with the puzzle-like structure and to deal also with tasteless neighbors. However, I think the first attempts looked quite well:

I bought some different tiki-style houses and placed them in a jungle-like surrounding, going over into a beach-area.... It turned out nice and everybody who saw it, said, he'd like to live there. So I guess it would have been a nice place for noobies to rent a fully furnished house for about 450-500 L$ or so.
I tried to contact the landlady all the time.. then finally caught her... she jumped over for some minutes, said, she doesn't want the houses on the ground, just a park (and that AFTER I had told her about my ideas in the beginning!!!) and then tp'd out without a word, which was just rude and inpolite.
I have to say: I was about to do it pro bono. So I DO NOT GET PAID for it. Just wanted to do it cause 1. I like to landdesign and 2. to get a reputation as landdesigner. So, I'm a bit pissed now. I took the houses and most of the stuff off, and I guess I will tell her, that I "quit", especially as she's not able to tell me exactly WHAT she wants, how many prims I can use etc etc etc. Why should I waste time and nerves?

*** Inventory ***

When  I don't waste my time on that quarter SIM any more, I might have time for more inventory sorting! Yay! I'm down to 32.000 now, after I sorted 2 big folders with textures, put them all in a texturer, took a backup in a box and then deleted the textures from my inventory. So in about 1-2 years I might be down to the 15.000 I wanted max.

*** Building ***

And I might also have time for more building. When I see, what my bestie Tel does for excellent builds (he's so good with textures!), I'm getting envious that I don't have the time to create something. I thought I'd have more time after giving up Tidra, but opposite!

*** Computers ***

Last but not least some words about my computer issues. After my old computer worked well for a while with the new harddisc, this week it finally crashed again. I don't know, what the problem is/was. It always only happened when I was inworld. Screen freezing, Computer freezing, reboot, blue screen error.... That's one of the reasons, why I didn't dare to start with the new computer (which was sitting there patiently in a corner for almost a month!), scared that SL/Pheonix/Emergence would kill my new computer also. But after all the problems I finally got it running... more or less. To install all the programms is already a mess; but to install it on Windows 7, which wouldn't want to accept most of my older programms, that's a pita! Starting with the driver for the network-adapter...
Well, finally I got it all and Yay! Emergence (I gave up on Phoenix. Only troubles, troubles, troubles) is running fine and I don't experience ANY LAG at all! *knock knock knock* I think it's a combination of the more powerful computer, graphiccard, system, emergence instead of Phoenix & SL V2 (emergence runs without a pre-install of SL V2) and last but not least turning down the bandwidth from 5000 to 500. I'm not sure, if that has something to do with it; we're trying to figure it out. I think I heard somewhere, that the higher your bandwidth is, the more information SL tries to suck at once from the net, which might cause your screen to freeze now and then. So it takes a bit longer for everything to rezz, but then it is stable for me; no screen-freezing at all. If you wanna try it, tell me your experience in the comments!

*** Happy Weekend! ***

Well, that was the fast news so far I could think of. I know I should write more often.... Just... *sigh*

/me hums "If I only had time...." and gets ready for work...
